Make A Logo
Creating a logo can sometimes seem like a daunting task and perhaps you're not even sure where to start. For those of you who are beginners, one resource that you may already have access to is Microsoft Word or Microsoft Powerpoint. While those may come as a surprise that I'd recommend either of those for Logo Creation, the reason is simply because you may already be using those programs and the easiest way to get started is to use something you are already familiar with.
However, in no way, am I suggesting that Word or Powerpoint will provide you with all that you need for a proper logo for your website or other project. If you want to try something now, then check out this tutorial on How To Create A Logo With MS Word.
For something a little more professional, there is a free software tool called Gimp. Gimp is a versatile graphics manipulation package and has a lot of great features for someone ready to jump into graphic design. If you don't know anything about graphic design or even computers, there may be a bit of a learning curve. If you've heard of Photoshop, think of Gimp as the free, "bare bones" version of Photoshop. The great thing about it is though its free :)
